After Jake's recital we headed to Sakura Park (look familiar? this is the location from our Save the Date: Featurette) for some boozin' shmoozin' and bocce. We brought the fixings to mix gimlets and our extremely heavy bocce set that we scored at a CT garage sale this past summer. And even though it was a bit gusty and quite chilly, the sun beating down on us and the booze in our bellies kept us warm and laughing the entire afternoon. What a perfect way to celebrate the conclusion of JG's big recital!
