^^My new cross-body bag from Banana Republic, kind of obsessed^^
This afternoon I headed downtown with JG and was finally (after four+ years) able to experience the drum circle and dance party he and a group of MSM musicians perform every Friday at YAI. YAI is "an organization that provides hope and opportunity to people of all ages with developmental disabilities and their families. The organization includes more than 450 programs and serves more than 20,000 people ever day!"
The musicians play a 30 minute set and instantly this previously quiet room is transformed into a full on raging, dance party. It was an emotional and uplifting experience. I left buzzing from the contagious joy that poured into the room and flooded my soul.
After YAI we rounded the corner and snagged a table in the sun at Dos Caminos. If you are craving Mexican food (as I have been ever since we got back from Honeymoon) make your way to the nearest Dos Caminos you can find. Seriously. The Mar y Tierra tacos were spectacular and rated "one of the best things I've ever eaten" by JG.
^^Husband + Spring + Sunshine = perfect^^
^^A seriously delicious (and strong) mango margarita at Dos Caminos^^
